Role Description
As a Wellness Membership Consultant, you will play a key role in promoting this facility’s wellness programs and services while cultivating long-lasting relationships with potential and existing members. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, conducting membership tours, and guiding individuals in selecting the right wellness memberships that align with their goals and preferences. The successful candidate will be expected to have a passion for fitness and wellness, a genuine desire to help others, excellent sales skills and the ability to contribute to a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Act as a brand ambassador, effectively conveying the value and benefits of the wellness programs to prospective members
- Provide personalised tours of the facility
- Develop a deep understanding of the fitness and wellness offerings, including personal training, group fitness classes, nutrition, and restoration services
- Assess individuals’ fitness goals and needs to recommend appropriate wellness memberships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing members, providing ongoing support and guidance
- Proactively reach out to leads and follow up on inquiries to convert them into memberships
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute membership promotions and campaigns
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the fitness, wellness, retail or related industry
- Passion for health, fitness, and wellness, with a strong knowledge of exercise principles and wellness practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds
- Experience in coaching and the ability to deliver programs and motivate and inspire clients.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine desire to help individuals achieve their wellness goals
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Professional presentation, with the ability to represent the company in a high-end setting
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
