Club Coops, founded 45 years ago by former world number one tennis player Ashley Cooper, is entering an exciting new chapter with a fresh rebrand and the launch of a new group fitness offering. This legacy health and racquet club combines modern group fitness, functional training, a heated magnesium pool, 24-hour fitness facilities, allied health services with traditional racquet sports and aquatic workouts, and now a brand new members Cafe and Bar. About the Role
As the Studio Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of wellness methodologies in our Group Fitness department. You will drive member satisfaction, and Instructor leadership by recruiting, training, and providing ongoing development to instructors, while delivering consistent and exceptional class experiences.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Certificate III in Fitness and/or Diploma in Reformer/Mat Pilates
  • Yoga Teacher Training (highly regarded)
  • First Aid & CPR Certification
  • Demonstrated commitment to continued personal and professional development.


Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (Studio Manager, Master Trainer or Lead Instructor).
  • Proven track record of driving high-quality group classes for 3+ years.
  • Championing Instructor engagement, satisfaction, and community.
  • Experience in staff development, education and presenting workshops.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving NPS targets and KPIs.

Role Responsibilities

  • Teaching Group Classes: Reformer, Mat Pilates, Yoga.
  • Day-to-Day Studio Operations: Being a member experience champion, manage scheduling, staff supervision, facility maintenance, member relations, and budget.
  • Marketing: Collaborating with the Marketing team on community engagement, event and workshop planning. Creating and contributing to social media content. Developing strategic partnerships for recruitment and professional development. Contributing to club communications.
  • Staff Management: Maintaining positive relationships with the Club Coops staff and Instructors. Manage staff timesheets. Conduct weekly face-to-face meetings with instructors. Oversee onboarding and mentoring of new instructors. Organise instructor workshops and ongoing education.
  • Reporting: Monitor and analyse KPIs to improve retention and profitability.
