Be organised and accountable

Being a personal trainer means determining realistic goals for your clients and helping introduce structure into their lives so they can reach them. Recording, tracking and following up with your clients about their results is paramount for success.

Have great communication skills

As an instructor you not only have to explain exercise movements to your clients so they’re performed correctly, but you have to keep them constantly engaged throughout their sessions. Being able to clearly communicate about nutrition and exercise also demonstrates your knowledge and expertise.

Become a master of motivation

Every client has a different “why” – the best instructors tap into those and find ways to drive their clients to perform at their best.
