A career in Group Fitness can be as varied as it is rewarding. While it all starts in the same place – a desire to teach, lead, and motivate through intentionally-designed exercise classes – the way you structure your career is up to you.

Be punctual & organised

Being on-time for your own class is a must, and having a clear plan of attack for every session demonstrates your knowledge and professionalism.

Have great communication skills

As an instructor you not only have to explain exercise movements to your clients so they’re performed correctly, but you have to keep them constantly engaged throughout the class

One of the great benefits of Group Fitness is the ability to coach multiple clients at once – which means maximising your time and earnings potential. As a result, Group Fitness Instructors are one of the best paid positions in the industry.
